Description:

This is the most interesting section of the river, and contains frequent rapids, both gravelly and rocky. The stretch between 6km and 10km has some rocky shelves and tricky twisty gravel races of easy grade 2 standard, with the cliffs around the area of the "Spiral Staircase" providing a pleasant backdrop. The last 1.5km is flatwater.
