Dunns Swamp is a hidden jewel for campers, bird watchers, walkers, fisherman and boaters. It is an extremely well appointed National Park camp ground with access to the water by two sandy ramps -Kookaburra and Patypus campsites. The campground is very large but fills to capacity over the weekend. The Waterway was creeated by a weir built on the Cudgegong River in 1929. Motor boats with a 4 knott speed limit share the waterway. It is 30 kms or so from Ryalstone or Kandos in the Wollomi National Park.
