Access Point Description:
Farleigh beach is a public park enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. Very Popular for Free camping. Bush toilets and picnic tables.
Located 10mins from Cowra Postoffice. Enter down lane past Turf Farm. Gravel rd. Be awear of dust when passing resident homes.
Cowra to Farleigh - 8km Farleigh to Kennedys reserve 12km
Pit Toilet (no toilet paper), 3 picnic shelters, rubbish bins, no water. A good long beach with grassy banks, which is a popular swimming and picnic spot, and often has travellers camping - 4WD access to beach or a 20 m carry. There is currently (Jan 2017) a snag blocking the river at Farleighs Beach, but it only affects you if you are paddling past, rather than starting or ending your trip there.

Farleigh Beach, Lachlan River below Cowra is an ideal spot to stop and camp overnight. as an entry exit point to/ from the river. sandy beach. banks steep but with right vehicle and caution combined with common sense access to the beach is obtainable. Way point in the Cowra Forbes section of the river.
