The trips and access point to NSW rivers were documents by a number of Canoe club members starting with the first guide book in the nineteen seventies and then the publication of the second guide book in the early nineteen nineties

Description:

The river is fast flowing water and passes through farming country. Look out for snags. Access points can be found at: Limekilns Reserve is about 26 km and 5 hours paddling and on the left hand bank just after the powerlines which cross the river. Tent based camping is permitted but there are no facilities. Vehicle access is 1.2km rough track along a traveling stock route.(TRS) Enter the gateway opposite the vineyard marked TSR on the northern side of the Old Hume Highway which is 10km north of the current Hume Highway. Wantabadgery Recreation Reserve is on the right hand side with a good landing beach. Thirty kilometres and 6 hours paddling from Limekilln Reserve. There is camping, toilets, water, tables and shelter. The road access is 2.7km past Wantabadgery on the Old Hume Highway. Use the lane to access the river 400 metres. Green Flat Reserve is on the left hand bank, 14.8km and 3 hours from Wantabadgery. Tent based camping is available on the Reserve. Road access is taken by turning at Windarmarra Road north of the Sturt Highway and cross Tarcutta Creek 1.9km. Turn left at the intersection at Massadon Farm. Turn left at the double white gates 100 metres after the stone entrance gate. Follow the track to the river. Oura Beach Reserve is on the right hand bank 28km and 5.5 hours from Green Flat, Tent camping is permitted with toilets, fireplace and drinking water. Vehicle access is signposted from the village of Oura, after turning from Wantabadgery Road. Wagga Wagga Beach reserve is on the left hand side about 26km and 5 hours paddling from Oura Beach Reserve,
