1a. Gertie's, Wyangala dam

Access Point Description: 

Access point to the back waters of the Wyangala State park.  Exit point for the Abercrombie to Wyangala section.  Unsealed road from Lyndhurst, and Mt Mc Donald after the decent from the top to camp site. Very popular in season, almost no faciities.
Caution whilst launching or retrieving boats as water line can be very boggy. Choose shale ridge areas. Recovery is difficult and expensive. Area is isolated and out of season often deserted, making assistance non-existent with little or no communication facilities. Park management may or may not patrol area.   Closest services are at Grabine Park across the stores water, services are limited.  Be aware where you are. Be self sufficient in this area. Bring all you require and take your rubbish away with you.
