Access Point Description:
Access point to river 1km below Holman bridge. It is approximately 3K's West of Gooloogong on the Lachlan Valley Way, turn North into Grey St, near the site of the First Anglican Church. Plenty of shady or sunny, grassy areas, Dogs undercontrol OK (adjoining neighbour has working dogs.) Phone & TV Reception. Historic Graves in Park. Gooloogong West Campsite has no time limit. Camp site is on the riverside. Bush Camp with lots of room for Big Rigs, but no facilities.
Area Maintained by Cowra Shire Council. Remove your rubbish.
This is a public reserve no. 1002390 This site provides easier access to the river than the Holman bridge or gooloogong reserves. Vehicle access right to waters edge.
