028. 12 Mile reserve, opp 12 mile rd. Forbes.

Lachlan River, 12 Mile reserve, Forbes provides access to the river and free camping.
Access to river is relativly easy down steep high bank.  A 15m length of rope would make things easier.
Reserve would be boggy when wet. No recovery locally.  Turn of into reserve at the  second 12 mile road sign.  from Forbes
NOTE:  TSR  (Travelling stock reserves) are sections of Crown land available for casual public use and often leased to stock owners for short periods of time as well as being available for organised stock movements. These reserves are managed by Local Land Services and Rangers perform daily management.  These reserves are available for public access to the river or periods of rest. Not to be used as campsites. Fires are normally not permitted particularly in fire restriction periods.  Ensure your waste is removed and disposed of correctly.
