Lachlan River,Forbes  Old Weir below caravan park, is the access point for the Forbes weir to Cottons weir section of the Lachlan River. Pool below the weir is the start point.  
Facilities listed all belong to the Riverview Caravan park and access and use of these facilities all are to be with van park management approval. Obviously the authorisation would come with booked accommodation but this may not be required if the request is made.
Forbes Has a number a access points available to the river user. The Torig Park, Railway Bridge for upstream access and caravan park weir. with White Bend and Cottons Weir for further down.
The paddler is sure to locate his needs be it coming out of the Cowra Forbes section or entering the Forbes to Condobolin sections or just doing the Forbes Wier to Cottons weir section.   Forbes provides all the necessaries and nicities required .
