Access Point Description:
Rottnest Island sits approximately 20 kilometres off the WA coast, west of Fremantle / Perth.
Geordie Bay is on the northern side of the island and is tucked away facing NW, offering good shelter from prevailing conditions. This also makes it popular during peak times for the mooring of privately owned powered craft. It is also a great spot for swimming and snorkelling as the water is so warm and clear.
Beach access is friendly enough as bay is protected from the SW'ly swells.
There is a small shopping complex / cafe here, which opens during peak times.
