Jon Mortimer manages the Eurobodalla Kayakers website and email list. Eurobodalla Kayakers is not a club. It is simply a facility for sharing information about some kayaking activities in the district, for kayakers who want to know when and where other paddlers might be found on the water. Further information, including a calendar of paddles, is available on the website (access via the link below) or via the email eurobodallakayakers[at]gmail.com

Access Point Description:

The boat ramp at the end of Plantation Point Parade Vincentia leads down to Barfleur Beach.  This beach faces north and is sheltered from southerly winds by Plantation Point.  There is a car park with a reserve behind, with covered tables, gas barbecues and a playground for children.  Rangers enforce the no overnight camping rule.  The boat ramp is suitable for small vessels such as catamarans and small sailing boats.  However, access to the water is across sand and the water is shallow, particularly at low tide, so the boat ramp is unsuitable for larger vessels.
