Access Point Description:

Flatwater conditions, access to West Lake off sand beach. Off-street parking, public toilets open 6.00am to 6.00pm daily.
A paddle around Delphin Island from the boatramp is approx 6kms. Shady trees, grassy area and picnic tables.
Caution:  where wind above fresh (17 knots) from S to SW, rebound waves with confused sea state make challenging conditions for inexperienced paddlers on  southern side of West Lakes Boulevard bridges and southern end of Delphin Is.
Note: Northern Basin - When Dragonboat Regattas in progress keep safe distance. Southern Basin - When A M Ramsay Regatta Course in use keep to access lane on Eastern boundary and do not cross finish-line when a race is in progress as this interferes with electronic photo-finish system.
