This access point provides entry (by watercraft) to the Coorong National Park and RAMSAR wetland of international importance. The Coorong is a waterway, neither fresh water nor salt. Remote and unspoilt, it is a fragile eco-system providing opportunities for photography, bird-watching (some have come all the way from Siberia to feast on small crustaceans), remote camping and fishing. You may also see marine mammals including seals and dolphins.
Limited on street parking available. A short walk (approx 50m) to Coorong, may have to cross fence.
Waterproof maps of the area available from Canoe SA and retail suppliers (see list on Canoe SA website)
