Lake William Hovell

Car park overlooking the pool immediately below the Lake William Hovell spill way provides a good view of the spill way.   From here you can walk down the spill way access track, around the gate and then down a walking track to the river.   To accessed the get in point take the right hand turn.   This leads to a short, steep and rutted path (and often slippery) to rocks around the spill way pond.   If you continue straight ahead on the track it takes you to viewing points over the first rapid and if you continue on to the bank below the first rapid.   The walk to the river from the car park is approximately 60 metres.
