Access Point Description:
An access point for the upper Coorong - a RAMSAR wetland of world significance.
From the Goolwa - Port Elliot Road (B37) take Beach Rd at the roundabout. Turn left at Lewis Road which becomes Barrage Road. Just before entering the Barrage compound turn right onto Beacon 19 Road and continue to the boatramp.
You may be able to see seals playing in the barrage outlet. They have recently become a common site in the Coorong and their numbers are having an effect on both professional and recreational fishing.
