Start your paddle from the ramp or catch a water taxi to your first destination. Refer to the Salty Dog Sea Kayak company for detailed information and hire of boats and equipment. Its a well formed ramp that seems to be dedicated to paddlers. Look for the Shower behind Slaty Dog - it appears to be a public shower. There is another ramp near the bus stop used by motor craft. Yes - catch the public bus if you are hiring boats from Salty's. .
