Lock 6 was completed in 1930 and is situated 620 kms from the Murray Mouth. The pool elevation is typically 19.2 m above sea level with a head at the weir of 2.9m
You may use Lock 6 as an access point for your paddle safaris in this region, however it is more likely to be identified as an emergency access point in planning and writing the risk assessment
