DISABLED ACCESS DESCRIPTION:
The put-in point is 1 1l2km upstream of the Turon River junction, on the Bridle Track. To reach Long Point from the western side of the river, take the Stuart Town turn-off at the Molong end of Orange, and then take the Long Point Road from Mullion Creek. The last part of the road down the ridge to the river can be negotiated by conventional vehicles in dry weather but is 4WD in the wet. If including this section in an extended trip, say from Freemantle Bridge, the car shuttle via Gowan, Ophir and Mullion Creek is about 63km one-way. However, this entire trip would then not be suitable for novices as it would include the Forge section.
