There are 2 firetrails that run out near the river from the end of Woods Reserve Road Grose Wold. The western one has a turning circle at the end of the road and it is 1km walk along the track and the about 300m through the bush down to the river off the end of the track.
There is limited road side parking so leave most of your cars in the Navua Reserve car park
