River Avenue

River Avenue (off Delhi Road). This is a useful access point for early mornings before the National Park gates open (9am). Paddle upstream about 300m and a quick lift across the weir puts you in the non tidal upper Lane Cover River. The spot is also useful for downstream routes. The entry point can be slightly muddy and a bit awkward, depending on the tide level. The distance for the road to the river is about 50m and is clear grass so it is an easy carry or drag from the car to water.
