Birchgrove Park

There is a wharf and narrow sandy beach along the waters edge at Birchgrove Park. There is ample street parking without any time resrictions or fees in Grove Street and The Terrace, although on Sundays in winter the parking is taken up by families attending footbal games on the oval. You can paddle up or down the harbour from here but just make sure you have the map showing the ferry lanes as it can get a little busy in the harbour.
