Australis Canoes is proud to announce that they are now a licensee of the Australian Made, Australian Grown campaign.
All Australis canoes, kayaks, sea kayaks, sit-on-tops and paddles have been certified as a "Product of Australia" which is the highest qualification offered to a manufacturer. This means that all of their manufacturing processes occur within Australia, using Australian raw materials.
In addition, their products have been designed in Australia for Australian paddling conditions, and are not foreign products made under licence.
Australis Canoes believe that this certification will help consumers identify between products manufactured in Australia, and products sold by companies who say they are "100 per cent Australian owned and operated", but whose products are made overseas.
Boat and Equipment Hire
- Canoes, kayaks, sea kayaks and sit-on-top kayaks available for hire. The goods are to be picked up from the factory during business hours. (Weekdays: 8am - 4pm Saturday: 9am - 12 noon). One day hire is only available on weekdays, with pick-up after 8am and must be returned before 4pm. Weekend hire allows pick-up on Friday afternoon and return on Monday. All hire prices include paddles and PFDs. Spraydecks and helmets will be supplied when necessary. A deposit of $250 is required per craft. This can either be paid with cash or credit and will be refunded on return of the craft in undamaged condition. Trailer hire not available. Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10 per cent is subject to all items. Facilities: First aid equipment.
