Port Stephens provides Kayak and Stand Up Paddle Board hire, tours, and sales within the majestic waterway of Port Stephens. They are located at two convenient waterfront locations at both Nelson Bay and Shoal Bay, or you can go and see them at their shop opposite the beach at Shoal Bay.
When hiring from them, you have the option of paddling about within sheltered waters or embarking on your own discovery of surrounding bays and sanctuaries. Paddle in your own time and at your own pace on kayaks and stand-up paddle (SUP) boards that suit all levels of experience and fitness levels.
Boat and Equipment Hire
- Both double and single sit-on-top kayaks are available for hire at their locations on Nelson Bay and the foreshore, and their shop opposite Shoal Bay Beach. Subject to availability and weather. Facilities: First aid equipment.
- Easy to paddle SUP's are available for hire at all three locations within flat, sheltered waters. Subject to weather and availability. Facilities: Cruise control.
