Parramatta Rowboats

Description: 

Lake Parramatta has rowboats, pedal boats, canoes, kayaks and stand up boards (SUP) for hire. The boats can be used on the beautiful reservoir and the family can enjoy a clean and calm waterway without the worry of rough water and tides/current making it very easy to pedal or row your way to a fun experience. Booking is not required, just simply arrive and select what is available. For children under the age of 12 lifejackets are compulsory although everyone is urged to wear one. They are included in the cost of the hire.  Pedal boats are ideal for the family which can hold 2 adults and 2 children and no experience is needed and the rowboats can hold up to 4 adults.
Hours of operation: Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays  10a.m - 5p.m and Monday to Friday during School Holidays
Information: There are no age limits however children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and wear a supplied lifejacket Lifejackets are compulsory for children 12 years and under, with the smallest size available for children more than 10kg (approximately 1 year old and over). Eftpos is available. (Visa, MasterCard, Amex?) Water craft hire will not be available during wet weather conditions. 
Location and Access: Lake Parramatta Reserve is open every day of the year. The main entrance is accessed from Lackey Street off Bourke Street in North Parramatta, with entry gates opening at 6.30am and closing at 5.30pm (7.30pm during daylight saving). Public transport is available via Bus609 (nearest stop on Bourke Street.
