Description:

Any sort of paddling in this section is NOT RECOMMENDED. The stream winds its way across a flood plain with grazing livestock on both banks. The river only flows where these is heavy rain or water is being transfered between the Shoalhaven catchment and Warragamba Dam so landowners have fences that cross the river in many places. There is also thikets of Grey Sallow (wild pussy willow) that grown in the stream channel. Both of these can be very dangerous with the high flows as you must portage around them. Casized upstream of these can result in paddlers being trapped under water and drowning
