Description:
A beautiful meander along Broughton Creek with the mountains in the distance to the west. Motor boats do use this creek also, but skiing is not allowed. The creek is tidal, however it can easily be paddled between both boat ramps at any time. The edges of the water are lined with mangrove swamps and dairy farms. Pelicans, Cormorants, Egrets, Ducks and Azure Kingfishers call this stretch of water home.

Upstream from the Wharf Road boat ramp on the right arm of the creek.
The Tannery Road bridge can be seen in the background.
When the water level is low some walking of the Kayak is required to reach this far upstream.
