Description:
Nine Mile Creek is reached by continuing on past Hinnomunjie Bridge, the road is fairly good although there are a couple of gates. This is an interesting section of grade 2 to 3 standard. After approximately 15 minutes paddling a large island is reached, both sides are passable except that the left side is narrow and prone to snagging, but on either side the drops are considerable. The river leaves the road and provides good grade 2 canoeing all the way to Nine Mile Creek.
