Description:

This section of the river provides a good multi day trip for canoes.   The river is mainly grade 1 and 2, with long pools and gravel races.   There is a mixture of farmland and bush and a number of holiday houses on the banks.   However campsites could be found in places.   The only rapid of note is Suprise Rapid.   This is a long rapid and can be portaged on river right by inexperienced paddlers.
