Jerrong Rd. Ford to Bummaroo Campground / Taralga - Oberon Rd.

No information has been recorded on this section of river as no one is known to have paddled it as yet. The following information/observation has been gathered until a first known descent is made:
- The Section is approx. 25.5km in length
-The gradient drops approx. 5m/km over the entire distance
-The river bed is quite narrow in places and the rapids appear to be between pools
- There are likely to be log jambs in the rapids as with lower section between Bummaroo Ford & The Beach. There are a number visible at the eastern most end of the Bummaroo Ford campground.
- Heavy rain, a high water table with top up rain and or snow melt in the Blue mountains is required to have enough water to paddle this section.
-There is no accurate online gauge for this section of river, as the closest online gauge is the Abercrombie R. @ Hadley, which is a long way downstream and has at least 4x major tributaries between Jerrong Rd. and the Gauge. However - if the Abercrombie Gauge at Hadley is above 1.2m it is likely to have just enough water in there to get down OR heavy localised rain in the Mt Werong Area
-Also if the river is high (ie. above 1.4m on the Hadley Gauge), the Bummaroo Ford bridge may be under water, so access will need to be made on one side of the river on Jerrong Rd. which SHOULD be possible, however the condition of Jerrong Rd. is unknown at this stage.
