Description:
You can head to either of two camp sites. The first, the 9 Mile Reserve downstream of Moulamein. 29km and 5.5 - 6 hours. This is remote camping with NO ROAD ACCESS. Use this for a 2 day trip. The second is at Moolpa which is a property on the right hand side near the 19 Mile Reserve distance 30km and a little longer. Select a suitable campsite on the right hand bank.
These are remote area camp sites but close to a road used by local farmers. There are no facilities. There is free tent based camping on the river bank. Please respect any private property signage.You can leave the second campsite via a 400 metre dirt track off the Moulamein to Kyalite Road near Moolpa (approx. 20km from Moulamein).
