Description:

Apart from one grade 2 rapid the river is generally flat moving water until the upper reaches of Burrendong Dam near Pyramul Creek. From here there is about 40km of flat water paddling on Lake Burrendong to reach Lower Mookerawaa on the southern side of the lake.
This section takes 2-3 days and is rarely paddled owing to the extensive stretch of flatwater paddling. i
