Description:
The river is generally flat with small grade 2 rapids and races and one grade 3-4 situated not far downstream of the Pinch River junction. Here is a very rocky stretch of river where it splits between boulders. On the right there is an abrupt drop of 2m and on the left a rocky chute turning sharply left, then right. Both options need to be inspected and carefully considered.
