Description:
The river is initially easy with a few minor rapids, and at about Map Ref. 631324 it goes through a series of drops ranging from rock gardens to minor falls in granite country. By about Map Ref. 632318 the character of the river changes completely and the minor rapids are really runs of a 'slatey' nature, having sharp edges which can cut hands and boats. With a good flow of water, this section would be quite interesting.
