Description:
There are only a few slow stretches in what is generally fast flowing grade 1 water. Berembed Weir is an easy portage. At Morden Island, 24km before Narrandera, small snaggy "falls" provide a diversion from the flatwater. Camping ranges from poor to good along the banks that are very high in places. Vision is often restricted to the riverbanks and the length of the straight. Sufficient supplies for the duration of the trip need to be carried as there are no towns on the way.
