Description:
Beginning as a broad and shallow stream flowing over a sandy bed, the river continues to be flat, moderately flowing water for 5km before it drops into a gorge. Rapids in the gorge are graded at 2 and 3 with some grade 4. Trees present a problem at times. There is a difficult 3-4m side-spill fall about 6km into the gorge which should be portaged. At high river levels portaging this would be quite hard.
