The car shuttle to Manilla via the northern or southern routes is about 28km one way.

Description:
The river has no more than grade 2 rapids in this section and flows initially through hilly country before meandering through more open country towards Manilla. The riverbed is generally sandy. There is a 4m weir just upstream of Manilla near the racecourse, which should be portaged, as should the low-level bridge just downstream of Lowry Ford.
