Description:
This is an exhilarating trip with the river quite narrow and dropping almost continuously in grade 2 and grade 3 rapids. It flattens near the end. The bush along the river is very pretty and imparts a strong feeling of wilderness. Because of the smallness and narrowness of the river it is advisable to paddle in small parties. A low-level bridge after the half-way mark may need portaging depending on the river height. Caution needs to be taken when this section is in flood. There are few eddies and the river runs through the trees. The image provided, is one of those times. At this level, only very experienced paddlers should enter the river. The bridge that is covered by flood water is visible at a good level.
