Description:
This section passes through forest country which eventually opens out to grazing land. During the first half of the section there are interesting, mixed rapids up to grade 2-3, set within a rocky and bouldery stretch of river. These rapids are very enjoyable in good water. One waterfall, known as "Jigglesmasher Falls", about 2m high is encountered which should be portaged by the inexperienced In the latter half, the river flattens out and sandbanks become more prevalent.
