SPECIAL POI: Cockle Creek, Bobbin Head, Navigable Limit

This is at the navigable limit (at high tide) of the north west arm of Cockle Creek near Bobbin Head. It is a nice short paddle, good to combine with a trip up the south east branch of the same waterway. Access is easy from the Bobbin Head car park and the area is well sheltered and calm, great area for kids to paddle as there is no powered boat access in this creek. At this point is a small sand bank from where it is possible to continue upstream by foot.
