SPECIAL POI: Clarke Island

This is anothr old quarry site which is now crown land. there is level ground on the inside of the island. A local landcare volunteer has a permannt camp site on the island that he visits onc a month to remove weeds like Lantana, balloon vine etc to restore the native vegetation. The island has a raisd bank around the island except for one place on the easters side wher a drainagle line allows flood water to drain out of the lagoon on th inslide of the island.
