SPECIAL POI: Arakoon Bitou Bush Program

This Adventure conservation program is run by Landcare Group South West Rocks Dune Care who is an enthusiastic group made up of local and visiting volunteers, supported by the NPWS and local Shire Council. We are also supported by funding through Northern Rivers CMA, Caring for our Country & Envirofund grants which allows us to employ contractors to maximize the effectiveness of our efforts. The group is controlling Bitou Bush along beach dunes, headlands or areas of littoral rainforest around South West Rocks.
