Access Point Description:
This is a great family picnic spot. With barbeques, toilets, cafe, children's play area and acres of bushland and a fresh water lake where the water quality is good enough to swim or a short paddle. There are residential areas, factories, schools and golf courses further up the catchment so the water quality is not good for a few days after rain. Parramatta City Council have started water quality monitoring and will react to unusual changes. The Council employs a life guard at the lake over summer
