035. First reserve - Forbes to Condobolin

First reserve provides access to the Lachlan River in the Forbes to Condobolin section.
This section passes thru a number of weirs and reserves between these two towns. There is no services or facilities in this section, Be self sufficent. Support vehicles can follow Paddler as the river and road run reasonable close most of the way. High/steep river banks.  A 15mt lenght of rope is a necessary to enter and exit.
This site is a TSR (Travelling stock reserves) which are sections of Crown land available for casual public use and often leased to stock owners for short periods of time as well as being available for organised stock movements. These reserves are managed by Local Land Services and Rangers perform daily management.These reserves are available for public access to the river or periods of rest. Not to be used as campsites. Fires are normally not permitted particularly in fire restriction periods.  Ensure your waste is removed and disposed of correctly.
