Access Point Description:
Lachlan River below rapids at Dam Spillway is the access point . This access to the river is from an old dirt lane that runs off the sealed road to the dam wall. ( access to wall is now closed further along) The river is some 45 mts below this track which ends at the spillway river entry point. Large pools exist just below the spillway. River from here to Darbys is a tree conjested crk in low flow. No public exit point once you have passed the new bridge without private propert access.
Check the river gauge 412067 and the dam discharge numbers. All facilities are in the Disipator park, the Village or the state recreation park.
