Access Point Description:
Access must be arranged through Gosham Station. They have good campsites on the river above the Herbert Falls. For this access to the river below the falls, use the Herbert Falls Access road - continue to the end and check out a high view of the Falls. Back up to just after the old TV survivor camp, you will find a track on the right side. After a scramble, quite steep at times, you will arrive downstream from the Falls. Paddle across to river right for a great beach campsite on s a large horseshoe pool. Rest up overnight before you tackle Double Falls.
