Plenty of parking right next to a sandy flatwater beach at Lavender Bay, Tuross head, allowing easy access to Tuross Lake and the lower Tuross River. Road access is off Nelson Parade. Shallow water off the beach at low tide with scattered oyster shells. Walk you kayak out a little way at these times. Coffee shops with water views nearby for coffee or lunch after your paddle. Newly built and well maintained public toilets. Children's playground.Boat ramp nearby.
