River Oak Crossing - as far as you can paddle upstream along Bomaderry Creek.
When there has been recent heavy rain the creek can rise and flow very swiftly here, and upstream of this narrow crossing. It should be avoided when in flood.

River Oak Crossing is as far as you can paddle up Bomaderry Creek when the water level is high enough to negotiate a few submerged rocks in the last 60m, Avoid this section if there has been heavy recent rain as the water level rises and flows swiftly in this narrowed rocky section.
The River Oak Crossing forms the looping point of the Bomaderry Creek Walk. The walk is also a good thing to do when in the area and takes about an hour.
Access is via Narang Road. There is a lovely picnic area at the start of the walk and a shorter walk to a lookout also.
