Wyangala provides great sheets of big open flat water for the boater be they be Paddle, wind or power. Secluded beaches in the bays and great fishing around the trees drowned by the waters. The section from the Wyangala Park to The Grabine Park is a suggestion as there are many bays and sandy beaches to find, in and around the banks of the Stored Lachlan and Abercrombie rivers. Wyangala Reservoir is very popular for water skiing in warmer months. Explore and enjoy the experience. Any afternoon wind will/may blow the water into very big water. Vehicles are normally safe if locked on the main beach area of the park, but are left at owner's risk. The water's edge can be very boggy for vehicles, expensive to be recovered. The access to the stored waters of the Lachlan Abercrombie thru the Wyangala Waters Park is by 4 concrete boat ramps or from the bank. Caution when using the banks, can be very boggy and recovery is not cheap. Back waters area is all accessed from river banks, pick your spot carefully

Situated in Central Western NSW, Inland Waters Holiday Parks Wyangala Waters is set on the banks of scenic Wyangala Dam just 30 minutes from Cowra.
Make the most of clear country skies at this destination that is ideal for a day trip and picnic, water sports and just right for a family holiday or get away with friends.
There are lots of choices of things to do at this picturesque park. There is a children’s playground, volley ball court and many walking trails through the bush to suit all levels of fitness. There are plenty of mountain bike trails to explore with varied terrain and spectacular scenery. A paddle around the foreshores any time of year is a wonderful and relaxing way to enjoy a day.
The dam is well regarded by anglers for fishing; silver and golden perch, catfish and murray cod are plentiful.
The onsite general store offers a delicious selection of take away food, fuel and general supplies.
Dogs are welcome in the dog friendly areas of the park and on campsites. Dogs must be on a leash and attended at all times.
Our guests delight in a crackling open fire (April – October) and enjoy the starry nights and clear skies. There is a range of comfortable accommodation available or for something different you may like to relax on a houseboat on the water.
