Description:
This is an overnight trip,
Day 1. Paddle the 27km to the north west boundary of Werai Forest taking about 5.5hrs or paddle 31km taking 6 hours to the junction of the Niemur & Edward Rivers in the middle of Werai Forest.. Please respect the Indigenous Heritage of this wilderness area.
Day 2. Finishes at Balpool Road Bridge. This is a remote area but close to a road used by local farmers. The river distance is 27km from the Nemur junction Paddling time 5 - 5.5 hrs there is free tent based camping near Balpool Road Bridge. Please respect any private property signage.No Facilities. There is vehicle access via Moulamein – Dahwilly (Deniliquin) Road turn left at Balpool Road sign. The bridge is a short distance from the sealed road.
