Description:

This section could be comfortably paddled by novice paddlers but is not suitable as a day trip because of the exceedingly long car shuttle (130km one-way via Orange) between the access points. If wishing to paddle this section, it is recommended to include it as the final stretch of a longer trip beginning from access points further upstream.

Passing through fairly steep, rocky and wooded country the river gives a sense of remoteness, only broken by the occasional 4WD track.
